Grafton Utah
Grafton was abandoned in the mid – 1800’s during the Black Hawk War, when residents were terrified of being killed American Indian Raids. Rumor has it that when you listen closely, you can hear the sounds of war drums, and a wailing widow is seen wandering through the graveyard, looking for her lost love.
History:
Grafton is a ghost town, said to be the most photographed ghost town in the West, it has been featured as a location in several films, including 1929’s In Old Arizona—the first talkie filmed outdoors—and the classic Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.[2]The nearest inhabited town is Rockville. MORE
