Snowbird Octoberfest 2015

One of the most popular Octoberfest celebrations here in Utah are held at Snowbird just minutes away from our condos.
The dates for Snowbird Octoberfest are Saturday – Sunday, Aug. 15 – Oct. 11, 2015

Over 60,000 attend this annual festival. Originally started in 1973 it has grown steadily throughout the years. Snowbird’s Octoberfest has authentic Bavarian food, live German music and yodelers. Arts and  crafts from local and regional artists will be offered for sale in Der Marktplatz.

Local breweries will be featured and a ceremonial one liter beer stein is available for collectors. Visitors generally consume some 6,000 pounds of weisswurst and bratwurst, 4,500 pounds of chicken and 2,000 Granny Smith apples are eaten in the delicious apple strudel.
