During the winter, you’ll find out why we can claim “The Greatest Snow on Earth.” In fact, there are 14 major ski resorts less than an hours drive from Salt Lake City.

Several professional sports teams also call SLC home. The Real Salt Lake, Utah Jazz, Utah Grizzlies and the Salt Lake Bees all make their home right here. Since being the host of the Olympic games in 2002, our city has continued to thrive in the field of sports.
