New Years Eve is always an exciting time to celebrate with family and friends – in Salt Lake City you have many options! Here are just a few that you may want to look into.

 

EVE, a three-day New Year festival presented by the SLC Downtown Alliance, will include fine arts performances, live local music, dance parties, ski and snowboard competitions, DJs, film screenings, laser shows, art installations, kids activities, storytelling and a spectacular midnight fireworks show Dec. 31. Activities take place in the Salt Palace and on West Temple between 100 and 200 South.

New Year’s Eve Celebration at the Utah Museum of Natural History

Celebrate the final hours of 2010 and of the Museum’s life in the historic George Thomas Building! The party includes hands-on activities, a dance party with The Mix 107.9, prizes and a real “Times Square” countdown at 12 . . . noon! Once the celebration is over, the museum will close for approximately nine months as it moves to its new home.
