What a fun event! One of a kind – you will not find it anywhere else. This is one of the reasons why Utah is a great place to vacation…
Kite Flying – Hot Air Balloons – Bands – Stage Entertainment – Kids Activities
What Should You Expect?
Kites will fly with the wind all 3 days – and there will be special demonstrations throughout the day from the kite flyers, paragliders, BMX riders and others. Food vendors will fill the air with delicious smells, and our tummies with delectable food.
We also have scheduled nearly non-stop on-stage and on-field excitement. Entertainment on the stage goes on nearly the entire time: 5-10PM on Friday, and then on the afternoon through the evenings on Saturday and Sunday.. Bring your own chairs for watching the entertainment. There’s also a climbing wall, a train for the kids, an inflatable bouncy land, and lots of other activities for the
children. This year, a 9-hole disk golf course will be set up – and you’re welcome to bring your own frisbees and play at no charge!
You’re also invited to explore the rest of the island, including the Visitors Center, Fielding Garr Ranch, and you can dip in the lake and wash off after in the fresh water showers at Bridger Bay (on the north end). If you’ve never been, it’s a great weekend to explore the island, then come and join the festivities between your forays of discovery. You can rent horses at R&G Horse & Wagon at the ranch, or rent jet-boats, kayaks, paddle boats, or bikes at the marina. More…
Don’t forget if you are coming to visit Salt Lake City we have unique condos with full accommodations it will be like your home away from home only better! Check out the rental units here…
